BSMI自2025年1月24日起實施刪除CCC Code 8504.40.99.20-5「無線充電器」1項貨品號列，及增列CCC Code 8504.40.99.29-6「其他無線充電器」1項貨品號列，請驗證登錄證書及型式認可證書持有人請儘速向BSMI辦理「無線充電器」商品證書變更貨品分類號列之相關事宜。

From January 24, 2025, BSMI has removed the wireless charger CCC code 8504.40.99.20-5 and introduced a new CCC code, 8504.40.99.29-6, for other wireless chargers. Certificate holders for wireless chargers are now required to promptly initiate the CCC code modification process.

On January 2, 2025, the National Cybersecurity Agency (ANCI) of Chile commenced operations. This technical body was established under the Cybersecurity Framework Law, which was unanimously approved by Congress in December 2023.

The ANCI's responsibilities include supervising, regulating, and sanctioning institutions—both public and private—that provide essential services in the field of cybersecurity.

埃及國家電信監管局 (NTRA) 推行註冊國際行動裝置識別碼 (IMEI) 的新程式。自 2025 年 1 月 1 日起，所有進口或由埃及本地製造的設備，其IMEI 碼都必須透過 NTRA 數位服務平台提交註冊，以往透過電子郵件註冊的方式將不再被接受。

The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt has introduced a new procedure for registering International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) numbers. Effective January 1, 2025, all IMEI numbers for imported or locally manufactured devices must be submitted exclusively through the NTRA Digital Services Platform. The previous method of registration via email will no longer be accepted.

The Madagascar Regulatory Authority of Communication Technologies (ARTEC) has introduced a new requirement for type approval.

As of November 2024, providing samples is now mandatory for all type approval applications submitted to ARTEC.

2025年1月1日，印度電信工程中心(TEC) 發布通知，更新MTCTE規範下對PON系列寬頻設備的文件要求及豁免規定。

更新內容包括，延長接受豁免提交任何PON介面的協議測試報告至 2025 年 6 月 30 日，接受自動激光關閉(ALS) 或自動功率關閉(APSD) 的自我符合性聲明至2025 年 6 月 30 日。

On January 1, 2025, the India Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) issued a notification updating the document requirements and exemptions for the PON Family of Broadband Equipment under MTCTE.

The updates include an extension of the exemption from the Protocol Test for any PON interface until June 30, 2025, and a limitation on the acceptance of the Self-Declaration of Conformity by Applicants/OEMs for Automatic Laser Shut-Down (ALS) or Automatic Power Shut-Down (APSD) until the same date.

隨著技術標準的製定與實施，自2025年2月14日起，USB Type-C 連接埠將依據《歐盟電氣設備安全指令》附件1第25(b)項第7小段的規定，歸類為需遵守供應商符合性聲明(SDoC)的設備。

無線電設備不論透過有線方式充電或同時支援有線充電和資料傳輸，都必須配置符合技術標準的USB Type-C連接埠。

2025年2月14日起，初次申請符合性評估認證的無線電設備皆須符合此標準，於此之前已完成符合性評估認證的設備將不受此新要求的影響。

受此要求規範的無線電設備，若 USB Type-C連接埠已通過供應商符合性聲明 (SDoC) 流程，則可以獲得符合性認證(registration)。或，若是經指定測試機構驗證確認遵守符合性評估標準，則可以使用未獲SDoC認證的連接埠。

With the establishment and enforcement of the technical standards, effective February 14, 2025, USB Type-C receptacle connectors will be classified as equipment subject to the Supplier's Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) under Subparagraph 7, Item 25(b) of Annex 1 of the Conformity Assessment Notice.

Wireless equipment that charges through a wired method or supports both wired charging and simultaneous data transfer must be equipped with USB Type-C receptacle connectors that comply with the technical standards.

Wireless equipment undergoing conformity assessment for the first time after February 14, 2025, will be required to meet this standard. However, equipment that completed conformity assessment before this date will not be affected by these new requirements.

For wireless equipment subject to this requirement, conformity certification (registration) can be obtained if the USB Type-C receptacle connectors have undergone the Supplier's Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) process. Alternatively, connectors without SDoC certification can be used if they are verified by a designated testing institution to comply with the conformity assessment standards.

2024年12月31日電信設備認證的外國測試實驗室授權之2024 年第 109 號法令已到期。此次變更使認證流程進有了重大更新，主要變更如下：

1. 自2025年1月起，海外實驗室出具之測試報告不能用於認證，直到其海外實驗室依據最新規定取得認可資格；

2. 2025年1月1日前海外實驗室已出具之測試報告，給予使用寬限期，在 2025 年6 月30 日前仍可用於認證申請；

3. SDPPI於2025 年 1 月 2 日宣佈第 109/2024 號法令到期，並強調需要遵守測試中心的最新要求。建議企業關注SDPPI針對外國測試實驗室授權的新法規的進一步通知。

On December 31, 2024, Director General’s Decree Number 109 of 2024, which established foreign testing centers for telecommunication equipment certification, expired. This change has introduced significant updates to the certification process.

Key updates as following:

1. The test result reports (LHUs) from foreign testing centers dated January 1, 2025, or later are no longer valid for certification purposes. Businesses must wait for new regulations to reauthorize foreign testing centers.

2. Grace Period for Test Reports Issued by foreign test lab before January 1, 2025 Test Reports by Foreign Test Lab issued before January 1, 2025, remain valid for certification purposes until June 30, 2025.
This grace period, provided under Minister of Communication and Informatics Regulation Number 5 of 2024, allows businesses time to adapt to the updated certification framework.

3. On January 2, 2025, SDPPI announced the expiration of Decree 109/2024 and emphasised the need to comply with updated requirements for testing centers. Businesses are advised to monitor further announcements from SDPPI regarding the reauthorisation of foreign testing centers.
